School Dinners
All Infant school children are entitled to a school meal paid for by the government. Older children in years 3-6 may still be entitled to free school meals - visit www.gov.uk/apply-free-school-meals to apply.
School meals are cooked in our on-site kitchen by our fantastic catering team. We are Food Hygiene Rated 5 Star, and compliant with all allergen requirements.
We encourage children to try the school meals. Every day there is a choice of a main meal, vegetarian meal and a salad station. There is a rotating menu – the most up to date version is available below. All the menus follow the Government School Meals Standards and cost
Children may bring a packed lunch, in a named lunchbox, as an alternative to a cooked meal. All food ingredients and products in school are nut free and we ask parents who give their children a packed lunch to only include food which does not contain nuts.
A healthy snack is provided free of charge for all children as part of the Fruit and Veg Scheme provided by the government. Water is available throughout the day.
Parents are asked to provide their child's preference in advance, choosing from the following options:
a) School meals everyday
b) Packed lunches everyday
c) Packed lunches Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday; school meals Wednesday (pizza day)
*Parents are asked to provide notice of one half term if they wish to change their child's preference
**Parents will be able to 'opt-in' for their child to have any special meals e.g. Christmas, census days
